Onesie Sizes Actual Lengths
Hoolies Kids and Baby Onesies with fold-over footies look longer than those without as the ankle cuff forms a footie when folded over. Fold-over footies are ankle cuffs with a third layer you fold back over the foot for extra warmth.
How to choose the correct size
- Grab a tape measure or string (You can use a ruler to measure the string afterwards)
- Measure from your child’s neck shoulder point (NSP) on his/her’s shoulder to the edge of the ankles
- Add at least 5 cm to your child’s length to select the size for a nice slouchy fit
- Don’t worry if you ‘lil one is chubby, the fit is generously wide
- Select your size from the size chart in the image gallery of the product

Fabric used in our Kids and Baby Onesies
Cotton Interlock
A sturdier knit than T-shirt fabric with great stretch. It’s warm enough for winter and long-wearing. It is a natural fabric and breathable. It’s also called “double knit”. Also suitable for newborn babies who need a little help regulating their temperature. regardless of season.
Cotton with Lycra
For stretching those busy limbs. It adds a little weight to the cotton as well. Known for its smooth texture, it stretches and jumps back to form. Makes a great winter kids and baby onesie.
Cotton Fleece
Fluffy inside, like the fabric used in track pants. We have some in normal fleece and some in stretch fleece with Lycra.
Plush Velour
Fluffy, like a low-pile velour Sherpa. Kids love the feel of it, almost like teddy bear fabric. It’s a man-made fabric.
All cuffs and fold-over footies are also 100% cotton, some with added Lycra.
